Alert.. Sudden weather change! A warning to fishermen! Is your district in the list of heavy rains? Chennai: chennai Meteorological Department has warned fishermen and given important information as it has said that heavy rains will fall in 7 districts of tamil Nadu today. 


4 South West Monsoon season is going on in tamil Nadu. Due to this, it is raining from time to time in many places. In this case, the chennai Meteorological Center has released important information about the weather situation in tamil Nadu from today to the 31st. According to its details, a low pressure area formed in the Bay of bengal near the North Andhra-South odisha coastal areas yesterday evening. It remains in the same location as the deep depression this morning. Apart from this, there is also a variation in the speed of the westerly wind. Due to this, light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning may occur at a few places over tamil Nadu, puducherry and Karaikal. Nilgiris, coimbatore, Tirupur, Theni, Dindigul, hilly areas of Mavtadam, Ranipet and Tiruvallur districts are likely to receive heavy rain at one or two places. Fishermen have also been warned. Accordingly, in the Bay of bengal today and tomorrow (July 26) the coastal areas of tamil Nadu, the gulf of Mannar and the adjoining Kumari sea areas, Andhra coastal areas and the adjacent Mid-West Bay of bengal will have a cyclonic wind of 45 to 55 km with a speed of 65 km in between. According to the Meteorological Department, cyclonic winds with a speed of 40 to 45 kilometers per hour and a gust of 55 kilometers per hour are expected in the coastal areas of sri lanka and in the southwest, southeast Bay of bengal and Central east Bay of Bengal. Thereafter, on 27th, 28th and 29th, cyclonic winds with a speed of 45 to 55 kmph and occasional speed of 65 kmph are likely to occur over Southeast coastal areas, gulf of Mannar and adjoining Kumari sea, Andhra coastal areas and Central Bay of Bengal. According to the Meteorological Department, the cyclonic wind speed of 40 to 45 km per hour and occasional speed of 55 km per hour can be expected over the Sri Lankan coastal areas and the South-West South-East Bay of bengal and Central east Bay of Bengal. Also, in the arabian sea area, from today to 27th, lakshadweep areas, North kerala karnataka coastal areas and in turn the Central Eastern arabian sea areas may experience cyclonic winds with a speed of 40 to 45 kmph and intermittent speed of 55 kmph. Apart from this, light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning may occur at a few places over tamil Nadu, puducherry and Karaikal tomorrow. Heavy rain is likely to occur at one or two places in the hilly areas of Nilgiris and coimbatore districts. After that, light to moderate rains are likely to occur at a couple of places in tamil Nadu, puducherry and Karaikal Pakuthakal from tomorrow (27th July) to 31st. Apart from this, the weather forecast for chennai and its suburbs has also been released. Accordingly, the sky will be mostly cloudy during the next 24 hours. Moderate rain with thunder and lightning may occur at a few places in the city. Maximum temperature is around 30 to 31 degree Celsius and minimum temperature is around 25-26 degree Celsius. And if we take the next 48 hours sky will be partly cloudy. A few parts of the city may experience moderate rain with thunder and lightning. According to the chennai Meteorological Department, the maximum temperature will be 32-22 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature will be 26 degrees Celsius.
