BJP is making caste politics its weapon....

Senior journalist Brijesh Shukla, who has a special grip on UP politics, told ABP news that BSP established its roots in Uttar Pradesh with the help of caste-based Dalit politics, and it reached power. The leaders of BSP also belonged to Dalits or OBCs. This exercise of BSP gave a huge political message that any party belonging to one caste can reach power. Similarly, the Samajwadi party made inroads among the Yadavs, the largest vote bank of the OBCs, and came to power in UP. Apna Dal and Nishad party or Bharatiya Samaj party are the parties that emerged after this election message, that is, all the castes formed their own party. An example of such a party is the Peace Party. It was made in 2008.

The PECP or Peace party contested about 208 assembly seats in the 2012 Uttar Pradesh Legislative assembly elections, where it got 2.35 percent of the votes. She stood fifth in terms of percentage of votes. The Peace party was officially recognized as a state party. The Peace party and the Rashtriya Ulema Council (RUC) fought the 2022 Uttar Pradesh assembly elections together under the banner of the United Democratic Alliance.

Brijesh Shukla further said that these are the parties which have a very strong hold in small areas of UP. bjp knows this very well. The party will be of great benefit if these small sections are brought together.
