After this, only the final touches will remain. It will be completed by December. The statue of Lord ram will be installed as a five-year-old child. "Rai said," The statue installed on the first floor in the ram temple and the idol to be installed in the sanctum sanctorum will be consecrated between january 15 and 24 next year.

The General Secretary said that the idol of Lord ram along with the whole family will be installed on the ground floor. Right now there is no plan to install any idol on the second floor. Rai said, 'The second floor will be made only to give height to the temple. At present, 21 lakh cubic feet of granite, sandstone and marble are being used in the construction of the temple.

80 percent work on the lower floor is complete - He said, 'The structure of the ram temple is of marble, while the doors are made of teak wood brought from Maharashtra. The carving work has also started on them. The temple will not require any repair work for more than 1000 years. ”Rai said that 80 percent of the work on the lower floor of the ram temple has been completed. Its 162 pillars are ready and more than 4500 idols are being sculpted on these pillars. A glimpse of 'TretaYug' will be seen in this.

For the carving of the pillars, 40 artisans from kerala and rajasthan have been engaged. He told, 'Each pillar is divided into three parts. 20 to 24 idols are being made in each pillar. Eight to 12 idols are being made in the upper part. Four to eight idols are being made in the central part. It takes about 200 days for an artisan to make an idol on a pillar.


Rai said that the foundation of the temple is 15 feet deep and made of stones and no iron or steel is being used in the construction. There will be no damage to the temple even during a 6.5 magnitude earthquake. sun rays will fall on the idol through lens and mirror.
