For the lok sabha elections, all the opposition parties are unitedly preparing for the Grand Alliance. Meanwhile, a news is also coming out that this alliance can be given a new name. That is, instead of United Progressive Alliance (UPA), this alliance of all parties will be known by some other name. This can be discussed in the mega meeting to be held in Bengaluru on 18th July. After which the new name can also be announced.

Quoting sources from india Today, it has been told that more than 20 parties will be involved in this new alliance. Till now the Congress-led coalition is known as UPA. The UPA government remained in the country for many years. In which all the regional parties of the country used to be under the leadership of Congress. However, after the meeting of the opposition parties, it will be interesting to see what name emerges in place of UPA.

A total of 26 parties including congress, trinamool congress (TMC), AamAadmi party (AAP), ncp are participating in the meeting to be held in Bengaluru. It has been told that all kinds of discussions will be held in this meeting regarding the upcoming lok sabha elections. There can also be a consensus among the opposition parties regarding seat sharing.

Meanwhile, when congress leader KC Venugopal was asked whether the opposition alliance would get a new name? On this, he said that the party is not taking a decision on this issue alone and a collective decision will be taken during the meeting. He said that it cannot be said yet that which issues will be discussed, but it will be informed after the meeting.
