Earlier, dara singh Chauhan had met Union home minister amit shah in Delhi. If sources are to be believed, this meeting between the two leaders took place on Friday. After resigning from the Forest minister, he joined the SP and was elected on SP ticket from Ghosi assembly seat in Mau district. Accusing the bjp government of neglecting the backward classes, Chouhan campaigned fiercely in favor of the SP, but due to not getting the expected importance there, he returned home.
