The discussion about Uniform Civil Code (UCC) is intensifying in the country. After PM Modi advocated UCC, it is being said that the central government is preparing to bring it. On the other hand, those opposing it are saying that this is BJP's election gimmick for next year's elections. All india Majlia-e-IttehadulMuslimeen (AIMIM) leader and mp AsaduddinOwaisi is prominent among those who say so. They are continuously opposing UCC. Owaisi is telling this against Muslims.In an interview to Times Now Navbharat, Owaisi said, the 21st Law Commission had said in its report that UCC was not needed and called it a threat to territorial integrity. Owaisi said that Uniform Civil Code will end India's pluralism.
