On Sunday, Brahmin community leader and MLC K kavitha reassured them of her full support in ensuring fair representation in electoral politics. Speaking at a Bhrama Garjana gathering in Saroornagar, she predicted that political parties will always search for victorious candidates to rely on in the election fights. She said that individuals who believe in "Idam Brahmam, Idam Kshetram," know the Vedas, and have fighting prowess will be favoured in the political sphere and that it would be difficult for any political organisation to disregard applicants with attributes that bring success.
She claimed that, in comparison to other indian States, telangana gave the Brahmin group the attention and support it deserved. In the State, archakas had fixed pay grades and employment stability. The Dhupa deepa Naivedyam plan increased the endowment donated to the temple from Rs. 2500 to Rs. 10,000.
She added that the state government had also provided financial aid to students from the community so they could study abroad and had taken steps to support local entrepreneurs.
