The people of telangana have made a tremendous contribution to the growth of the nation, according to prime minister Narendra Modi. The prime minister congratulated the people of telangana on the start of the Rs 6,000 crore worth of projects while addressing a crowd on saturday after laying the foundation stones for two projects: a railway manufacturing unit in Kazipet at a cost of Rs 521 crores and a 176 km long national highway project with a total cost exceeding Rs 5,550 crores.

He emphasised the need of converting two- and four-lane highways to four and six lanes, respectively, and mentioned that the State's national highway network had grown from 2,500 km to 5,000 km over the previous nine years. He cited a number of interstates being built across telangana as part of the Bharatmala project, which serve as a connecting centre for nearby economic hubs and promote economic activity.

Modi emphasised the importance of the corridor in providing contemporary connectivity between telangana, Maharashtra, and andhra pradesh when speaking about the laying of the cornerstone for the Mancherial-Warangal segment of the Nagpur-Vijayawada Corridor. He added that this project will shorten the trip between mancherial and warangal, ease traffic, and provide aid to the area's neglected tribal inhabitants. The four-laning of the Karimnagar–Warangal segment, which the prime minister also emphasised, will improve connection to the warangal Special Economic Zone (SEZ), Kakatiya Mega Textile Park, and Hyderabad–Warangal Industrial Corridor.

The prime minister also emphasised the positive effects that Telangana's increased connectivity was having on the State's economy, tourism, and agriculture, making it easier to visit historic monuments and places of worship. He emphasised the efforts made by the government to help the granite and agricultural sectors in karimnagar directly, as well as to give young people possibilities for work and self-employment.

The success of the Make in india programme and the manufacturing industry's importance as a source of employment for young people in the nation were both recognised by the prime minister. He spoke about the Production-Linked Incentive (PLI) plan, which provides manufacturers with specific support, and underlined the more than 50 significant projects being carried out in telangana as part of this effort.

He named Bharat Dynamics Limited, situated in Hyderabad, as one of the benefactors, saying that India's defence exports have increased from Rs 1,000 crore to nearly Rs 16,000 crore. The Railway manufacturing facility at Kazipet, according to the prime minister, would also assist local communities by creating jobs. In attendance were the governor, tamilisai soundararajan, the union ministers for tourism, G. Kishan Reddy, and road, transport, and highways, Nitin Gadkari.
