No Crowd in Telangana for PM Modi meeting in Hanamkonda

Poor attendance at prime minister Narendra Modi's event exposed a big discrepancy between bjp leaders' assertions and the actual number of participants. The party claimed that almost five lakh people would attend the "Vijaya Sankalpa Sabha" on saturday at the university Arts and Science college in Hanamkonda, however intelligence sources say that the attendance was just around 35,000.

The party state officials are quite dissatisfied with this unsatisfactory result. Internal strife between Bandi Sanjay and his competing groups, which eventually resulted in Sanjay's removal by g kishan reddy as the state head, may have contributed to the underwhelming turnout. Additionally, according to bjp officials, despite the fact that agricultural operations were in full gear, the rural community did not show any interest. This may have been still another factor in the low performance.

Another intriguing observation was that when the prime minister was speaking, people started to leave. The event, according to a senior party member, was a failure on the side of the BJP's state and warangal leadership. Due to these conditions, it appears that the public no longer has faith in the bjp, and it is unlikely that it will win more than 10 mla seats in the 2019 general elections. The party's cadre has surely been discouraged because to the poor attendance.
