MLA Jogu Ramanna hands over podu land pattas to 4,017 tribals in Adilabad

According to mla Jogu Ramanna, the State government works to improve the lives of tribal people. At an event here on Wednesday, he presented 4,017 qualified tribals with podu land pattas. Ramanna added that when telangana was formed, a special attention was placed on the tribal people. She thanked the chief minister K Chandrashekhar Rao for fulfilling the long-held aspiration of the tribal people. He said that the government recognised tribal festivals and provided funding for the construction of tribal settlements.

Among the numerous people who attended the occasion were collector Rahul Raj, district Cooperative Central bank Chairman A Bhoja Reddy, and Mandal Parishad President Gandrath Ramesh. According to Tribal, women and Child Welfare minister Satyavathi Rathod, the advancements made in the previous nine years in the newly established state of telangana under the inspirational leadership of chief minister K Chandrashekhar Rao are similar to those that would have taken a century to make.

She said the initiatives taken include 10 reservations for STs, pattas for podu lands to the STs, the upgrading of thandas and gudems into Gramme Panchayats, the establishment of gurukuls for tribal children, and the general welfare of tribal communities in her address to a public meeting on the occasion of the distribution of pattas for podu lands at Narsampet in the district on Sunday.
