Telangana Fraudster arrested for duping victim in name of MBBS admissions
The fraudster lured Barigela Vijay Kumar, his victim, with the promise that his questionable company, Vaishnavi Educational Services, would secure a spot for his daughter in an MBBS programme, the police claim. He was able to extort Rs 9 lakh from Kumar by arguing that money was needed for the costs associated with getting the admission. But instead of keeping his word, he disappointed Kumar and his daughter, who were devastated. The victim then went to warangal police commissioner AV ranganath and requested an investigation by the Task Force.
The Task Force police quickly arrested srinivas after receiving a reliable tip, and they also collected a significant amount of evidence, including Rs 3 lakh in cash. It was discovered that srinivas had a history of five prior cases and was a notorious habitual criminal. The case is being looked into by the Subedari police.
