The State government's initiatives to restore the former splendour of public schools appear to be having a positive impact. A prime example of that is the Zilla Parishad High school in Yellareddypet, where several pupils are expressing interest in enrolling. 118 students have signed up for various classes thus far this academic year. The State government has started the Mana Ooru Mana Badi initiative to build infrastructure in 26,072 government and local body schools under 12 components gradually in order to enhance all government schools in the State.
The initiative included renovating the Yellareddypet ZPHS school, which was in poor shape, for a cost of Rs 8.5 crores. Along with contemporary classrooms and wallet PLATFORM' target='_blank' title='digital-Latest Updates, Photos, Videos are a click away, CLICK NOW">digital whiteboards, the school also created a playground, library, labs, and other amenities. On june 20, IT minister KT Rama Rao officially opened the school in its current form.
Many parents are already expressing interest in enrolling their children in the school after being impressed by the amenities offered there. So far, 118 new students have enrolled at the institution. Class VII had the most new members, with 74, followed by Class VIII (21), Class VI (18), Class IX (3), and Class X (2 students). The school has 350 students enrolled in it.
School Headmaster Dabbeda Hanmandlu told india Herald that the contemporary amenities created at the school were luring parents to enrol their children there. Additionally, one factor motivating the parents was the 99 percent score in the SSC examinations. He said that although a private school in the mandal received three GPAs, two ZPHS students received a 10 GPA in the SSC results.
A model lab, 48 computers, a dining hall with a capacity for 400 people, cooking sheds, restrooms with separate areas for boys and girls, a water filtration plant, wallet PLATFORM' target='_blank' title='digital-Latest Updates, Photos, Videos are a click away, CLICK NOW">digital boards, flowing water, and a hand washing station were also supplied.

The institution was created through a public-private cooperation.
