The hyderabad traffic police want to visit every school in the city this academic year with the goal of raising traffic awareness among schoolchildren. The traffic police will educate the children about traffic laws and road safety using creative methods, such as by hiring mime artists. Since a few years ago, awareness campaigns have been launched in educational institutions all around the city.
The goal, according to Additional Commissioner (Traffic) G Sudheer Babu, is to reach out to every school this academic year and revitalize the minds of the kids. In order to ensure that kids are aware of traffic laws and road safety, he stated, "We plan to make it a regular exercise and meet with as many students as possible." The Goshamahal and Begumpet Traffic Training Institutes are preparing, and the activities will begin after the school administration has settled down with the start of the academic year.
"We will ask the administration of the school to mandate that students visit the traffic park at least once throughout the academic year. After visiting the traffic park, kids would learn a lot about their personal safety, he said. Additionally, during the year, the traffic police will hold competitions in road safety-related art, painting, essay, elocution, short plays, and skits, among other disciplines. The Additional CP (traffic) stated that while all kids who participate will receive certificates, those who succeed will also receive rewards.
The school administration is now engaging with the traffic police to discuss methods to improve traffic flow near the schools. When schools finish or start for the day along key road segments, the regular commuters commonly complain about traffic jams. sudheer babu continued, "We will be holding meetings soon and talking about strategies to address the problems.
