Chief minister K Chandrashekhar Rao questioned on tuesday why programs that had been effectively functioning in telangana for five to six years could not be adopted in maharashtra in a scathing reaction to those criticizing the telangana model. Chandrashekhar Rao did not hold back when he attacked the political parties in maharashtra while speaking to a sizable crowd of farmers and residents of maharashtra at Sarkoli on tuesday during the official induction of senior ncp leader and former mp Bhagiratha Bhalke into the BRS. He questioned the State's stagnation and wondered what the goal and course of the country should be. He expressed his worries and highlighted that 75 years of independence should have resulted in more advancement and expansion.

The chief minister emphadata-sized the democratic process by stating that elections were ongoing. There is always a victor. How many political parties did you back? Give me the name of one party that was denied the opportunity to reign in a state like Maharashtra. The 50-year dominance of Congress. Following that, you gave the BJP, Shiv Sena, and ncp a chance. They would have already delivered something to farmers if any of them had wanted to. Why not in maharashtra if programs like those adopted in telangana will help farmers? maharashtra is a sizable and wealthy State. He questioned, "What is lacking here?

Chandrashekhar Rao rejected the claim that enacting policies like those in telangana will bankrupt Maharashtra. Yes, bankruptcy is inevitable. only for politicians though. The BRS President also stressed India's potential for effective irrigation and water management. There are 41 crore acres of arable land in India. Rainfall is sufficient to supply 1.4 lakh TMC of water. The remaining 70 TMC of water is excess to our needs for drinking and agriculture, even if half of it evaporates or is wasted. Every acre in the nation would receive enough water for irrigation, and every home will have access to enough potable water for consumption, he continued.

In maharashtra, 8–10 farmers were killing themselves every day as a result of the ineffectiveness of the authorities, and residents of even major cities like mumbai and pune were experiencing a serious drinking water shortage. He stressed the urgent need for the nation to adopt new water and energy policy.

In addition, farmers would receive irrigation water and uninterrupted free power supply in addition to Rythu Bandhu, he said, if the BRS were elected to power in Maharashtra. He also stated that seniors, people with disabilities, and others receiving social security pensions would receive pensions on par with Telangana.
