Telangana - ‘Winds of change..’, says Cong as BRS leaders join party
Rahul gandhi tweeted, "A united congress is unstoppable," in response to the telangana leaders joining the Congress. Soon, telangana will see a people-centered political epoch similar to the one that swept over Karnataka. After meeting with rahul gandhi and congress president mallikarjun Kharge in the nation's capital, the telangana leaders made their choice public.
Besides Rao and Reddy, Gurnath Reddy, (six times MLA), Koram Kanakaiah, Ex mla & serving Zila Parishad chairman, Payam Venkateshwarlu, Ex mla, Muvament Vijaya Baby, DCCB ex chairman, Pidamarthi Ravi, ex-cChairman, sc Corporation, Thulluri Bramhaiah, present DCCB chairman, Borra Rajshekhar, present Markfed state vice chairperson and S. Jaipal, present municipal chairperson, Warya and Mandal Praja Parishad chairmen and many senior BRS leaders joined the congress here.
"The result was seen in Karnataka, and those winds are now flowing towards the other assemblies, which are going into elections including a very important state of telangana," added Khera.
Revanth Reddy, the head of the telangana state unit, spoke to the media and declared: "Today many leaders promised to join the congress and we will work together to defeat the ruling telangana rashtra samithi (now bharath Rashtra Samithi) in telangana and we have to show how the bjp and trs together cheated 4 crore people of the state."
Revanth Reddy, criticising the telangana state government, stated: "KT Rama Rao, Telangana's IT minister, is showing that we have made representations for the progress of the state, metro rail, national irrigation project, and some other projects, which is why we met with the BJP.
