The bjp high leadership invited both leaders to delhi on friday to address matters after hearing rumours that former mla Komatireddy Rajgopal reddy and mla for huzurabad Eatala Rajendra intended to quit the party and join the Congress. bjp National President jp nadda and union home minister amit shah reportedly phoned both politicians and requested a meeting on Saturday. According to the reports, amit shah was enraged with the telangana unit leadership for failing to mend the party's internal division.

According to reports, amit shah is trying his hardest to persuade the pair to abandon their plans to join the Congress. There have been rumours that Bhongir mp Komatireddy venkat Reddy, Rajgopal Reddy's older brother, was able to persuade his sibling to join the Congress. A feeling of loneliness in the party as a result of being ignored led even Eatala, who is having severe disagreements with party State unit president Bandi Sanjay, to allegedly opt to leave the Saffron party.

According to sources, former mp Konda Vishweshwar reddy and a few more politicians who switched parties along with Rajgopal reddy and Eatala Rajender are also waiting to defect to the Congress. According to reports, these figures are dissatisfied with Bandi Sanjay's management style and want the party leadership to remove him. As they have already decided to leave the party, there is also talk about the pair seeing amit shah, according to insiders.
