Another cable bridge is available in Telangana..!?
If cable bridge is mentioned in Telangana, till now the bridge built on Durgam Lake in hyderabad comes to mind. karimnagar will also join that list. The cable bridge constructed at a cost of Rs.224 crores is ready to be opened to reduce the burden of traffic going to warangal via karimnagar and to avoid traffic congestion. It will be launched by the State IT and Municipal Affairs minister on wednesday evening. To this extent, the authorities have completed all the related arrangements. Cultural programs will be organized on the bridge along with the inauguration of the bridge as part of the decade celebrations. The construction work of this cable bridge was started on february 19, 2018. It was initially estimated to cost Rs.183 crores, but due to changes in construction, land acquisition, etc., it reached Rs.224 crores when it was completed. The cable bridge 500 meters, 300 meters from karimnagar Kaman to the bridge, and 500 meters towards Sadasivapalli have been completed. The remaining 3.4 km of land was acquired and approach roads were constructed. If this bridge becomes available, the distance for those going to warangal, vijayawada via karimnagar Maneru Bridge road from Jagityala, Peddapally, Adilabad, Sirisilla, etc. will be reduced by seven kilometers.
The bridge will be 500 meters long with a four-lane road. 26 long steel cables were brought from Italy. The distance between the two piles of the bridge is 220 meters and the distance to the intermediate is 110 meters. Built with a budget of Rs. 224 crores, this bridge is completely designed with state-of-the-art engineering. The Rs 8 crore Korea Dynamic Lighting is 21.5 meters wide and seven meters wide.
