The state's bharatiya janata party (BJP) and congress have both criticized the state's home minister Mohammed Mahmood ali for his comments on women who wear short skirts, which have sparked a contentious debate. The uproar was caused by a recent event at a college in the city, when it was claimed that female students taking intermediate supplemental examinations on june 16 were instructed to take off their burqas before entering the test room. minister ali said there were no rules against wearing burqas when questioned about this occurrence by the media on Saturday.

The home Minister's speech has drawn a lot of attention, and many political parties have expressed their worries. bandi sanjay kumar, the leader of the opposition and the president and member of the telangana bjp, criticized the government's intervention in women's fashion decisions on Social media. He questioned the Minister's priorities and emphadata-sized the importance of focusing on more urgent problems like crimes against women.

In response to the criticism, minister ali made it clear that his goal was to emphadata-size the value of dressing modestly while reiterating the government's dedication to a secular policy that respects personal preferences. He promised that the event at the college will be addressed appropriately.

"Perhaps someone erred...Principal or Headmaster? However, we follow a secular policy. Any attire is acceptable for anyone to wear. But if they dress in european fashion, it might not be appropriate. Kam kapde pehnene se pareshaani hoti hai, auratein khaas taur se. "It might cause a problem for women if they wear less clothing, but if they are fully dressed, people won't have any problems," ali allegedly stated.

Bandi Sanjay Kumar, the head of the telangana bjp and an MP, responded to Ali's comments by posting, "Now telangana government wants to determine what ladies should wear? Why was the home Minister's lips shut while giving advice on what women should dress while there were rapes and killings going on?
"Telangana congress condemns statement by telangana home minister regarding the dressing sense of women that people will be at peace if they wear more clothes," read a post by telangana Congress. The so-called contemporary prince @KTRTRS, who believes his current viewpoint is capturing the attention of the globe, should denounce the sexist statements. How does the BRS manage its government?
