Development attracting filmmakers to make movies in Telangana - KTR

In contrast to earlier, when many favoured the Konaseema region in andhra pradesh, telangana is now attracting film directors, according to IT minister KT Rama Rao. He claimed that Telangana's development during the previous nine years was the only reason that filmmakers were now travelling there to shoot their films.

The minister claimed that rural regions were undergoing significant improvement and that Telangana's villages, led by chief minister K Chandrashekhar Rao, had become national role models. Only 3% of indians live in telangana, but the state has received 30% of the national honours declared by the Centre for Villages. According to him, Telangana's towns also took home 25% of the national honours.

Even in the middle of the summer, tanks, ponds, rivers, rivulets, and other bodies of water were overflowing. Due to the Chief Minister's determination, dry ground has been transformed into green fields. He stated during a visit to Yellareddypet on wednesday that telangana appeared like a pot full of water when seen from a helicopter while travelling to the area because Kondapochamma Sagar, Mallanna Sagar, Ranganayaka Sagar, the Gouravelli project, and Mid Manair were overflowing with water.

The water issues in the Yellareddypet area will be resolved with the opening of the Malkapeta reservoir, the minister added, which would take place in 20 days.
