There was a considerable rise in pilgrims visiting tirumala tirupati balaji during the weekend. The tirumala tirupati Deavasthanams (TTD) report that on saturday and Sunday, about 31 compartments were full of worshippers. Authorities have issued a warning that anybody waiting in queue for the Srivari darshan without tokens may have to wait more than 24 hours.
On saturday, 88,626 devotees came to tirumala in their whole. With a revenue of Rs 3.67 crore, the Srivari Hundi at the temple experienced a significant increase in donations. The waiting system is being carefully monitored by ttd officials in the meanwhile to prevent any hassles for followers.
On Friday, there was a greater influx of worshippers at the tirumala tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) temple. The ttd is reportedly packed with followers in every compartment, according to the sources. According to the ttd, pilgrims to Sarvadarshan may take a full day to offer their prayers. The pilgrims have been encouraged to schedule their trip in advance. A total of 70,160 pilgrims came to tirumala on Thursday. 38,076 followers tonsured their heads of these.
