US: Top 15 Safest Cities And 15 Most Dangerous Cities

Other factors contribute to why some cities are the safest and others are unsafe to live in, outside the prevalence of guns and aggressive individuals. The cost of crime is estimated by MoneyGeek's yearly research using the FBI's most recent crime statistics for 263 U.S. cities with populations bigger than 100,000.
To evaluate the cost of crime in each city, the study produces crime data as well as the social costs of various types of crimes.
