The new parliament building in delhi will be officially opened on May 28 by prime minister Narendra Modi, with the help of ap Chief minister Y S jagan Mohan Reddy. In a tweet, jagan Mohan reddy praised the prime minister for creating the new structure and preparing to dedicate it to the country. jagan Mohan reddy urged the opposition parties to unite and support the prime minister, even though 19 opposition parties rejected the prime minister's decision to ignore President draupadi murmu when he opened the parliament building.
"I congratulate @narendramodi ji for presenting the country with the imposing, magnificent, and roomy parliament edifice. The parliament, as the "temple of democracy," embodies the spirit of our country and is owned by all the political parties and the general public. It is not in the genuine spirit of democracy to boycott such a grand occasion. "I propose that all political parties participate in this beautiful occasion, putting aside any political disagreements. My party will attend this historic occasion in the pure spirit of democracy, jagan Mohan reddy tweeted. Additionally, jagan Mohan reddy had invited members of his party to the occasion and to congratulate the prime minister after the inauguration.
On May 27, jagan Mohan reddy is slated to be in delhi for the niti aayog general council meeting. Whether he would stick behind and watch the dedication of the parliament building is unknown. For its part, the tdp had not sided with the opposition parties in their boycott of the inauguration or in its backing of the Prime Minister. On that day, the tdp MPs will be occupied with the party's Mahanadu event at Rajamahendravaram.
