After a steamy day, rainstorms pounded various areas of the city in the late evening, temporarily offering relief from the heat.
Tellapur, Kondapur, Miyapur, Nizampet, Lingampally, Madinaguda, Gachibowli, Patacheru, Bachupally, Afzalgunj, Rajendranagar, Nampally, Charminar, Saidabad, Mehdipatnam, Bahadurpura, Afzalgunj, Neredmet, Shaikpet, Toli Chowki, Hitec City, Erragadda, Sanathnagar, Kukatpally, Ameerpet, Bandlaguda, Falaknuma, Attapur, Chandanagar, parts of
secunderabad received showers for around half-an-hour.
According to the TS Development and Planning Society, Vikarabad had the most rainfall with 44 mm, followed by
sangareddy with 37.3 mm and Jayashankar Bhupalpalli
