Foreign Investments: AP Ranks 14th, Telangana 7th
State-by-state information regarding FDI equity inflow (foreign investments) from october 2019 to december 2022 was made public by the Department for Promotion of industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) of the Central Government. In the list of 5,751 Crore FDIs, andhra pradesh is ranked fourteenth, making up just 0.42% of all the investments the nation received at the time. Telangana, a neighbouring state, is comfortably ranked seventh with 33940 Crores in FDI, or 2.52% of all FDI in the nation. The top five states are Maharashtra, Karnataka, Gujarat, Delhi, and nearby tamil Nadu.
At the bottom of the list, andhra pradesh is up against tiny states and underdeveloped North Eastern states. andhra pradesh routinely appeared in the Top 6 places under Chandrababu Naidu's administration, but objectives have altered under the current administration.
