According to the Southern Railway ranking list, chennai Central railway station has been ranked first with a revenue of Rs 1.085 crore in the financial year 2022-23 and Egmore railway station has been ranked second with a revenue of Rs 525.96 crore.
This has been revealed in the list of top 50 highest earning stations in Southern Railway for the financial year 2022-23. coimbatore railway station is ranked 3rd with revenue of Rs.283.36 crore, thiruvananthapuram railway station with Rs.205.81 crore, ernakulam railway station with Rs.193 crore and 4th and 5th place respectively.
Madurai Junction is ranked 6th with Rs 190.76 crore and tambaram railway station is ranked 7th with Rs 182.68 crore. Gadbadi was ranked 8th with Rs 168.39 crore and tiruchirappalli was 10th with Rs 140.24 crore.
