The karnataka high court can issue a decision in this regard before 13 April.During the hearing of the petition in the karnataka high court, Justice M Nagaprasanna said that it is the responsibility of the commission to independently assess the request and take a decision. The high court directed that the commission should take a decision by april 13 and dispose of the petition.The AAP on wednesday approached the high court alleging that the election commission of india has kept its appeal for recognition as a national party "under review".Prithvi Reddy, convenor of the AAP karnataka unit, filed a petition in the karnataka High Court. There has been a delay despite AAP's claim in the petition that it satisfies all requirements for designation as a national party. The AAP is solely recognised as a political party.
