According to the report, in the last 15 days, there has been a tremendous increase in the prices of tea in Pakistan.Tremendous hike in tea pricesAt present, the price of tea in pakistan has gone up to Rs 1600 per kg, which was earlier being sold at Rs 1100 per kg. This claim has been made in the report quoting local shopkeepers. According to the report, the price of 170 gram of granulated cardamom pack has now increased from 290 to 350. A packet of 420 grams of tea is now available for Rs 1,350 instead of Rs 900. At the same time, the price of the Rs 550 packet has crossed Rs 1,480 and that of the Rs 720 packet has crossed Rs 2500.It was told in the report that some shopkeepers say that 1 cup of tea is currently being sold for 26 to 20 rupees. But in the coming days, its rate will be increased from 25 to 30 rupees.
