The ap high court has ruled that top producer Ashwinidat should be given rent compensation. jagan made it clear to the government that there can be no delay due to technical reasons. It was argued that the government is responsible for paying the rent. During the previous tdp government, land was collected from farmers for the expansion of gannavaram Airport. The tdp government said that 700 acres of land is needed to make the gannavaram airport an international airport and handed over that land to the airport Authority of india (AAI). But initially the farmers around the airport refused to give land. In this context, the Chandrababu government has promised to pay the annual rent along with the same compensation as given to the farmers of amaravati capital. With this, the farmers gave land.
In this order, Chalasani Ashwinidat, the head of the top producer Vyjayanthi Movies, also gave his 39 acres to the gannavaram airport. But after Jagan's government came to power, it stopped paying rent to the farmers who had given land to the airport. In this context, Ashwinidat approached the high court to pay them rent. The high court made key comments in the hearing held on november 21.
