The
chief minister of
andhra pradesh, Y.S.
jagan mohan reddy, stated on
saturday that the development of the state is his only priority and that the relationship between the state and the federal
government is above politics. This was said by the
chief minister in a speech to the public alongside
prime minister Narendra Modi, who had just dedicated or laid the cornerstone for seven development projects around the country. "Parties and
politics have no bearing on our relationship with the central
government, especially with you. We have no other agenda besides those of our state and we never will, "He declared as the large crowd cheered loudly.
The
chief minister pleaded with the
prime minister to continue providing aid to the state, saying that
andhra pradesh had yet to fully recuperate from the scars of split. He stated that even after eight years the state has not recovered from the wounds of bifurcation. Every institution approved and each rupee granted by the Center would aid in the reconstruction of
andhra pradesh, he assured the prime minister. He asserted that the nation and its citizens would never forget the good the
prime minister had done for the nation's advancement and the wrongs committed by earlier administrations.
Jagan
mohan reddy said that he brought up concerns regarding agreements signed at the time of bifurcation on many occasions, including those relating to Polavaram's special category status and the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant's railway zone. He urged Modi to give these issues his full attention and to address them in a heartfelt manner. In his speech, Union
minister for Railways
ashwini Vaishnaw noted that
india has changed dramatically over the past eight years thanks to PM Modi's leadership. He asserted that improved infrastructure and passenger facilities have caused the railway to change as well.
