There has been speculation about controversial media figure v ravi Prakash, the creator and CEO of well-known telugu television news channel tv9, starting a new television channel for quite some time. There were rumours that ravi Prakash, who has been working behind the scenes to run a news website and a few channels, was in talks to launch a Telugu-language television channel with the Ambani group, the head of a chain of well-known television networks, in September.

But as quickly as they appeared in media circles, the rumours have disappeared. According to the most recent information, ravi Prakash and malkajgiri MP and president of the telangana Pradesh congress Committee A revanth reddy have reached an agreement to create a new telugu television news channel. revanth reddy will run the media company through four of his close friends, and ravi Prakash will serve as its data-face, according to the sources, despite the fact that his name doesn't appear anywhere in the new organisation.

Revanth reportedly advised ravi Prakash to remain in the background in order to prevent a witch hunt by the telangana rashtra samithi government, but the former CEO of tv9 argued that he wanted to make a comeback on camera since it would generate a lot of revenue for the network. According to reports, "discussions are in their last stages, and it's likely that it will launch in a month or two." ravi Prakash was in the news for suing the new management after being abruptly fired from the Associated Broadcasting Corporation Ltd (ABCL), the promoter of tv9, a few years ago.

He was eventually charged with forgery and cheating and was later released from custody. Since then, he has been out on bail, and the case is still open. The National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT), which ruled that the new promoters' takeover of the ABCL in august 2018 was entirely legal, declared that ravi Prakash had lost his case against the tv9 management in june of this year. ravi Prakash was criticised by the NCLT's hyderabad bench for causing problems for new promoters like Jupalli Jagapathi Rao and other directors.
