On the occasion of police Commemoration Day, cm yogi Adityanath, while paying tribute to the martyrs, made several announcements regarding the police department. cm yogi announced to give a motorcycle allowance of Rs 500 by increasing the cycle allowance of Rs 200 to the policemen so far. He said that the government has also decided to link the policemen with the e-pension portal.Addressing the Reserve police Line on the occasion of police Commemoration Day Parade in Lucknow, chief minister yogi said, "I announce to increase the monthly motorcycle allowance of Rs 200 given to policemen by the Uttar Pradesh government to Rs 500." yogi said that the director General of police (DGP) has been authorized to approve medical bills of policemen up to Rs 5 lakh. Apart from this, it has been announced to give a phone allowance of Rs 2 thousand per year to the Chief Constable of Civil police and PAC.CM praised the police fiercelyIn his address on police Commemoration Day, yogi said that this police Commemoration Day is a tribute to the sacred spirit with which the police and security force personnel work to maintain the security of the country by putting their lives at stake. It is an occasion to express gratitude and pay tribute to the soldiers. He appreciated the state police for peacefully conducting Prayagraj Kumbh-2019, lok sabha elections-2019, assembly elections-2022 and panchayat elections before that.Yogi said that in the time of corona virus epidemic, the policemen worked hard as corona warriors and set a new example of service to humanity. He said that with better strategy and co-ordination, the state police have successfully completed all the festivals, fairs, processions, rallies and demonstrations facing various challenges.
