What are the adoption rules?Under the scheme, a patient can be adopted for a minimum of a year and a maximum of 3 years. For the adoption of a patient, you can visit NIKSHAY 2.0 web portal. After that you will be connected to any tb district Officer and that officer will give you the details of that patient. There is a condition on the website that the patient's details will not be disclosed.Let us tell you that there are 13 lakh 51 thousand tb patients in the country at present and about 20 to 25 lakh tb patients are reported every year. It has been agreed to adopt a total of 9 lakh patients.
