The second round of the much awaited british Prime Ministerial race has ended. In the five rounds of elections, the one who wins the fifth round will become the next prime minister of Britain. It is known that Rishi Sunak, the son-in-law of the legendary IT company Infosys Narayana Murthy, is in the second round. He has served as the former finance minister of the country. He is said to have all the qualifications to become the prime minister. And.. Boris Johnson, who acted as the prime minister of Britain, is said to be the reason for Rishi's resignation from his post.
However.. Rishi took another step forward in the election for the post of Prime Minister. He is said to be in the running for the third round as well. In the third round, he is facing competition from Trade minister Penny Mordaunt and Foreign minister Liz Truss. In the second round, Rishi got 103 votes while Mordant got only 83 votes. 64 people supported Liz Truss in third place. In the second round of voting, Attorney General Suella Braverman, who received the lowest number of votes, withdrew from the race.
Rishi, who advanced in the second round, thanked all those who supported him after going to the third round. Rishi said that he will try his best to serve the country.. He said that together we can unite the country by undertaking the reconstruction of the country's economy. Although not reducing the tax rate as his opponents say, he stated that his primary goal is to curb inflation.
