MLC Ananthababu in police custody!!
Police said that MLC Anantha Babu has been taken into custody in the murder case of Subramaniam, a driver who caused a stir in the state. The investigation is ongoing. Anantha Babu is also likely to be remanded, police officials said. Subramaniam's family members and Dalit leaders have been sharply critical of MLC Anantha Babu in connection with the murder of driver Subramaniam.
It has been several days since the incident but there have been various criticisms that Emmelsie Anantha Babu has not been taken into custody. There has been intense criticism of the police as well.
Recently, the police shifted MLC Ananthababu to kakinada GGH. He was brought to the hospital amid tight security from the AR office. There Ananthababu underwent medical tests. He was then taken in a police vehicle to appear before a magistrate.
On this occasion a huge provision was made at kakinada GGH. Precautions were taken to prevent any untoward incidents. Anantha Babu's arrest has been tense since this morning. Additional SP srinivas told media that Anantha Babu himself surrendered before the police in this regard. Ananthababu has been interrogated since noon. ASP said Anantha Babu would be remanded after appearing before a magistrate.
