India-Japan:Russia-China same opinion!!
India-Japan talks: Can Modi and Kishida have the same opinion on Russia-China?
India and japan have similar security and strategic concerns but both deal with them in different ways.Prime minister Modi and Japanese prime minister Fumio Kishida discussed the relationship between the two countries at the 14th India-Japan Annual Summit in delhi on Saturday, march 19. This was the first summit after the summit talks held in japan in the year 2018. At the same time, this is Kishida's first visit to delhi as prime minister after becoming the Japanese prime minister in october 2021. This summit has taken place when both the countries are still trying to understand the ukraine war and the global situation arising out of it.
Even though prime minister Kishida emphadata-sized Russia's aggression in his statement, prime minister Modi showed more caution. Further strengthening of the India-Japan friendship is necessary not only for both the countries but also for the Indo-Pacific region. This will promote peace, prosperity, and stability in the world.
Even though nothing was said directly about russia or china in the statements, if you look closely, the indications are understandable. In this gesture, Russia-Ukraine relations, China's actions in Galvan, Ladakh, and disputes in the South china Ocean have been mentioned. One of the conclusions is that beijing is a big factor for both delhi and tokyo at the moment.
