Tit for Tat..! Tourist Visa suspended for Chinese..!?
India has canceled a tourist visa issued to Chinese nationals amid questions over the
education of thousands of
indian students. Following this, up to 22,000
indian students studying at universities in
china were deported. Since then,
india has repeatedly called for their extradition to
china, but it has not been accepted. The
government has refused to allow them to enter China.
As a result,
indian students are dropping out of China. In this regard, the
international Air Transport Association (IATA) has issued a circular. Accordingly, tourist visas issued to Chinese nationals are no longer valid. Subsequently, the details of the passengers allowed to enter
india have also been released.
Accordingly, travelers from Bhutan,
india, Maldives, and Nepal, travelers permitted to stay in
india, travelers with a visa or
holder of an e-visa issued by
india, travelers with a card or manual of
indian citizenship, cardholders of
indian descent and holds an embassy passport Passengers will be allowed to enter India.
Similarly, tourist visas valid for 10 years are no longer valid. Thus,
india is said to have taken this action in response to China's reluctance to take a harmonious stance on the educational environment of many thousands of
indian students and to impose strict restrictions that call into question their future lives.
