McDonald's President and CEO chris Kempczinski said that they need to think about the needless human suffering in ukraine and it cannot be ignored. Closing restaurants in russia is the right step to do now. McDonald's is serving millions of Russian customers each day and closing restaurants there is very challenging for them. They also closed temporarily 108 restaurants in ukraine and they are paying those employees also.
