Microsoft Invests 15000 Crores in Hyderabad Data Centre

With an expenditure of Rs 15,022 crore, software giant microsoft will build India's massive data facility in Hyderabad. On Tuesday, the telangana government and microsoft unveiled a data center initiative that will become telangana Microsoft's massive data center location in India. microsoft will invest $15 billion over 15 years in the newly - built area, which will be divided across three locations: Chandanvelyy, Ellikaatta, and Kotturr.


The software behemoth already has an innovation center in hyderabad, india, which is the company's biggest outside of its headquarters located. Enterprisses, startups, programmers, schools, and government bodies will benefit from the new datacentre in hyderabad, which will provide sophisticated data protection and cloud services. The news was announced in the attendance of Rajiv Chandrasekar, Union minister of State for Electrical and IT, and KTR, Telangana's IT minister, and Jayash Ranjaan, Principal Secretary, ITE&C. Microsoft's Executive VP was also present at the ceremony.


The hyderabad datacenters regional is yet another extension of the existing infrastructure of 3 regions in india covering Pune, Bombay, and Madras, which have been operating for more than 5 years. KT Raama Rao called it an iconic milestone in the progressive realization of Telangaana. "This will be one of Telangaana's biggest FDIs; it will implicitly promote local company growth and enable job creation across IT services."
