LIC honours Olympic and Paralympic Winners
The life insurance corporation of india (LIC) has recognized athletes who have represented india at the tokyo Olympics and Paralympics. "The performance of the indian athletes at the tokyo Olympics was very impressive," lic stated in a statement. The country has won seven medals, including a gold medal, thanks to them.
On behalf of lic, not only the gold, silver, and bronze medalists were acknowledged, but also the 4th place finishers who fought valiantly but fell short of winning. Performances were held in the participants' hometowns, and senior lic dignitaries awarded the players with monetary prizes and awards. They received financial awards from all of the officials, as well as many life insurance payouts.
Similarly, indian competitors performed admirably at the last tokyo Paralympics. They won a record-breaking 19 medals, including 5 gold, 8 silver, and 6 bronze. The 7th place finishers were also honored with monetary prizes on behalf of lic at a ceremony conducted in their hometowns.
