Hot debate in Winter Session Of Parliament?
The winter session of parliament is set to begin today amid a tense situation with the repeal of agricultural laws, the Pegasus issue and the rise in petrol and diesel prices.

The central government has decided to table a bill to repeal agricultural laws in the winter session of parliament starting today.
The central government last year brought in 3 agricultural laws related to the agricultural sector. The central government said the laws would free farmers from the clutches of middlemen.
Farmers' unions from states including Punjab, haryana and Uttar Pradesh opposed the laws. Farmers besieged the data-border areas of delhi and started their struggle on november 26 last year. That struggle has been going on for more than a year.
The central government is serious about filing bills to repeal all three agricultural laws. Opposition parties have stated they will not run in the by-elections.
An all-party meeting was called yesterday on behalf of the central government. However, prime minister Modi did not attend the meeting. On the government side, Union Ministers rajnath singh and Pius Goyal were present.
The central government has prepared a list of 25 bills to be introduced in this session. The bill banning private cryptocurrencies is significant.
The most important of these bills is the Constitutional Amendment Bill, the supreme Court, the Judicial Salary Amendment Bill, the Bankruptcy Law (Second Amendment) Bill, the Pension Financial Regulatory Commission Amendment Bill, the Immigration Bill and the Anti-Trafficking in Persons Bill.
The meeting, which begins today, is expected to feature heated debates. So of course the crowd is expected to walk with excitement as the ‘hot’ wind blows.
