high court has stated that it is incorrect to
believe that alcohol and
drugs can be used to relieve stress. Judge Pukhalendi heard the petitions for bail and pre-trial release in cases involving
drugs, including cannabis. The judge went on to say, "Many individuals
believe that drinking and using
drugs is the best way to get rid of sadness and other ailments." However, alcohol and narcotics exacerbate the condition.
To get enthusiastic, many
people utilize drink and drugs. These aid in masking the unpleasant feelings for a short period of time. As a result, many
people turn to
drugs to cope with unpleasant emotions, negative memories, lack of sleep, humiliation, shame, and anger. As a result, the feeling of security they experience is just fleeting. Alcohol and narcotics, in fact, can have negative consequences.
Financial loss, relationships, and personal well-being can all be harmed by alcohol and drug abuse. They seek out alcoholic beverages and medicines that make them feel like they've died and gone to heaven. What they
believe to be heaven, however, turns out to be torment. Alcohol and narcotics are to blame for the rise in crime. One of the main reasons why young
people get involved in numerous crimes, including human trafficking, is because of alcohol and drugs. Following that, the judge ordered that all bail and pre-bail petitions be heard on their merits.
