Seeman, the chief co-ordinator of the Naam tamil party, has condemned the broadcast of prime minister Modi's program in temples controlled by the Department of Hindu Religious Affairs.
On november 5, indian prime minister Narendra Modi unveiled the statue of Adisankar at kedarnath in Uttarakhand. The show was telecast live on electronic screens in some temples in tamil Nadu.
In this context, Seeman, the chief co-ordinator of the Naam tamil party, condemned the incident. In his statement, he said the bjp 's attempt to use temples as public spaces beyond political differences for sectarian politics, party spread, and selfish activities was highly reprehensible.
"Who allowed prime minister Modi's religious events to be telecast in temples controlled by the tamil Nadu State Department of Hindu Religious Affairs? It is a shame that the bjp government is keeping quiet.
