Due to the Corona curfew, tourist destinations such as Kanyakumari were prohibited. Despite the fact that many tourist centres were first lifted, the restriction on Kanyakumari remained in place because the beach is a popular tourist destination. For two years, the tourist centres in Kanyakumari were abandoned. Pedestrian traders who rely on tourists for a living, as well as other traders, were severely impacted.

Tourists were allowed into Kanyakumari tourist centres with restrictions for two months in this situation. Tourists are not permitted to congregate in Kanyakumari on Saturdays and Sundays, which are national holidays and weekends. As a result, there has been no default in Kanyakumari tourism centres in two years. Tourists have been allowed to go on vacation since the end of last month.

As a result, Kanyakumari has seen an upsurge in visitor arrivals. Many tourists came to Kanyakumari from neighbouring districts in tamil Nadu and Kerala, in addition to Kumari, Nellai, Thoothukudi, and Tenkasi. The boat house, Thiruvalluvar statue, Vivekananda rock, sunrise and sunset centres, and Kanyakumari Mukkadal Sangamam have all started weeding again. A big number of tourists have travelled to Kanyakumari for the Deepavali festival, which lasts four days and begins on the 4th of november and ends on the 4th of December. Because it was a holiday for schools, colleges, and government offices, many people came with their families.
