On
sunday night, a 24-year-old guy dressed as Batman's
joker assaulted
tokyo people on the
train as many partygoers headed to the city centre for a Halloween celebration. The victim was hurt, according to the news. According to reports in the media,
police detained the alleged attacker on the spot.
According to reports, a man in his 60s was inadvertently put in jeopardy after being stabbed, and witnesses claimed the assailant sprayed liquid throughout the
train and set it on fire. A video posted to
twitter showed a steady stream of
people fleeing from a railway
car before flames erupted a few seconds later. Another footage shows passengers running out the
train window and attempting to stop it.
One source told the Yomiuri Shimbun, "I believed it was a Halloween act," recalling seeing another traveler scream and dash towards the train. "Then I saw a guy walking like this and gradually swinging a long knife," he claimed, pointing to the knife, which was covered in blood. In another video sent to
twitter, a man dressed in the Joker's purple outfit and neon green shirts sits on an empty
train, smoking cigarettes, crossing his legs, and relaxing. I demonstrated how it works. In the next scene, he can be seen through the glass, flanked by law enforcement. The defendant then told officials that he "needs to
murder people to be condemned to death," according to
local media.
