Perarivalan was granted a month's release by the tamil Nadu government on May 28. Following this, Perarivalan was escorted from chennai to his residence in Jolarpettai by armed guards. As if he were at home, he was receiving medical care. He also sought medical care in the districts of Krishnagiri, Vellore, and Villupuram. Perarivalan signed the court order every day at the Jolarpet police station.

The sentence was reduced from 150 days to one month on parole. Due to the fact that the parole period ended on october 26, the police were making preparations to return to Perarivalan jail today. Security trucks were dispatched to his residence, and security officers took all required precautions to return him to the Perarivalan jail. In light of this, the tamil Nadu government renewed Perarivalan's parole for the sixth time this morning.
