After losing to mamata banerjee, bjp candidate priyanka Dibrewal joyfully declared herself the election's heroine. In eight waves of assembly elections in march and April, the trinamool congress won 213 seats in West Bengal. However, mamata banerjee, the party's leader and chief ministerial candidate, was defeated by bjp candidate Svendu Officer in the Nandigram constituency by roughly 2,000 votes.

Mamata took over as chief minister, but she could only keep her job what she ran for and won a seat in a constituency within six months. Amid this upheaval, she ran for office in his home constituency of Bhabanipur. By-elections for three constituencies, including Bhabanipur, were held on the 30th. This by-registered election's votes were counted and mamata banerjee, the chief minister of West Bengal, has been in the lead in the Bhavanipur constituency where she was running since the outset.

Mamata Banerjee defeated BJP's priyanka Tibrewal by a significant margin of 58,832 votes at the end of the 21-round election. Against this backdrop, bjp candidate priyanka triumphantly declared herself the election's heroine because she was the one who lost to mamata Banerjee.

According to Priyanka, trinamool congress executives were implicated in voter fraud in various polling places. However, they were not prosecuted. I implore mamata banerjee not to send your party officials to save people who will cheat in future elections, Dibrewal stated. I appreciate the people's verdict, but in this election, I'm going to proclaim myself the game's heroine. Even though I ran in Bhabanipur, which is considered as mamata Banerjee's stronghold, more than 25,000 people voted for me, accounting for 57 per cent of the registered vote.

Furthermore, priyanka expressed his disappointment with the BJP's lack of grassroots strength in Bhabanipur, saying, "I believe that the strength of the party should be to win in a constituency, but the strength of our party is not so large in Bhabanipur."
