How many rounds of COVID-19 vaccination is recommended? For most immunizations, two doses are required; however, if the Johnson and Jonson vaccine is required, only one dose is required. Scientists from all over the world are facing at any need for a triple jab as a booster shot. But do you really need all six doses? Certainly not, but according to reports, one guy from Uttar Pradesh has received five dosages and his sixth is on the way.


He didn't get that many shots because of a certification problem, though. According to PTI, Rampal Singh, a native of Sardhana in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, has had 5 doses of COVID-19 immunization and his sixth is planned. On march 16, the 73-year-old had his first dosage of the vaccination, and on May 8, he received his next. When he obtained his certificate from the official web portal, however, it showed that five jabs had already been provided, with the sixth due for december 2021 to january 2022.


His first dosage was on march 16th, his next on May 7, his third on May 16, and both his fourth and fifth on september 16th, according to the certification. According to Chief Operating Officer Akhilesh Mohan, it's the first occasion someone has been enrolled for the vaccination more than twice.
