Female
students from a particular ethnic group living in a
bhagalpur ladies dormitory went on the spree on
saturday afternoon after the dormitory administrator ordered them to wear burqas on campuses. The
students threw stones at the hostel's entrance. The administrator, they claim, is attempting to impose Taliban Sharia rule at the hostel. “Whenever we wear slacks, the superintendent yells at us. Daraksha Anwar, a student, added, "She also provides our
parents incorrect information, claiming that we talk to boys."
“We occasionally wear slacks and T-shirts within the campus because it is difficult to wear burqas in Bihar's sweltering summer season. She went nuts whenever she spotted a student wearing trousers or
chatting to female pupils having scooty,” claimed Neda Fatima, a research scholar. After the report was made, Nath
nagar circle inspector Smita Jha and a
police squad arrived at the girls dormitory and resolved the situation.
The kids' allegations against the dormitory administrator were refuted by the director. The incident has also been brought to the attention of the ministry of education. “We have considered the pupils' and principal's statements into consideration. The probe is still ongoing. “We will send the investigation report to the state
education department as soon as possible,” Jha said.
