Dog Swallows Mask due to Hunger - Chennai Veterinarians rescues it!
The lockdown is not just hard on humans, it is also hard on the pets who are at pet shops and other places. Even stray dogs don't get enough food during this lockdown period. In a shocking incident, a hungry dog has swallowed the data-face mask which was not properly disposed and a team of Veterinary doctors from chennai did an immediate surgery and rescued it.
Even though the government asks the citizens to wear masks, there are no proper guidelines to dispose of them or dump them. So, most of the time people just threw masks after using them a couple of times. Even these dumps are a reason to spread the virus. But most of the time, the pets and stray dogs are facing trouble due to these dumps.
A stray dog that was looking at the dump for some food has swallowed the mask thinking it was some kind of food. That dog is a Husky breed and it started to choke immediately. The people around were shocked to see the dog and they took it to a nearby veterinary clinic and while taking the scan the doctors found that the dog has swallowed the mask. Immediately, the doctors gave the medicines and started the surgery to remove the mask before things got complicated. Finally, they took the mask and saved the life of the dog.
