Corona Cases Increase Faster in Chennai - Entire City on Panic Mode
The number of Corona Positive cases in chennai has increased suddenly and yesterday alone the total number of positive cases has increased upto 5473. This has caused a huge panic in the city as every day the number of positive cases increases 2x times. 5327 people have recovered and returned to their homes. Still, 31,222 people are under treatment and 42 people have lost their lives in a single day.
The second wave of Corona is wreaking havoc and each day the number of positive cases and the death toll is upsurging to new scales. In south india, karnataka and tamil Nadu are the worst-hit states with lots of positive cases. The health Department also warns people to wear masks at all times and maintain social distancing. The government also has imposed a night curfew and a complete lockdown on weekends.
Despite all these, there seems to be no slowing down. Now, chennai has turned out to be the hot spot in the second wave of COVID. So far, 4743 people have lost their lives due to COVID in chennai alone. After chennai, Chenaglpet has 1215 cases, coimbatore has 1113 cases, madurai has 691 cases, Thoothukudi has 579 cases and Tirupur has 423 cases.
